Rajkumar Rao did this work in Shrikant
Actually, Rajkumar Rao played the role of Srikant Bolant Industries founder Srikant Bolat in the film ‘Shrikant’ who cannot see. In the film, Rajkumar Rao had to play the role of a blind person for which the actor did deep research and understood that in reality blind people do not walk with their hands spread out like it is shown in most films. Rajkumar Rao told that he does not try to grope anything because he cannot see anything.
This habit had become a part of muscle memory
Rajkumar Rao told that he went to some blind schools and noticed that blind people usually keep making some movement with their face or eyebrows. In the film, his character Srikant was also shown repeatedly moving his eyebrows. Rajkumar Rao told that he used to start this practice every day as soon as he came on the set and by the time the shooting of the film was over, it had become a part of his muscle memory. That is, he kept moving his eyebrows in the same way even after the shooting was over.
It took time to give up this habit after shooting
Rajkumar Rao said that it took him time to unlearn these things. Every time he did this, he had to remind himself that now he does not need to be a part of this character. It is known that Rajkumar Rao and Alaya F’s film Srikant got a rating of 7.9 out of 10 on IMDb and this film, made at a cost of approximately Rs 27 crore, earned a total of approximately Rs 62 crore.
