New Delhi. Abhay Deol worked with Anurag Kashyap for the first time in the 2009 superhit film ‘Dev D’. This film was directed by Anurag Kashyap. This film proved to be a great earning film of that year. It proved to be the luckiest film of Abhay’s career. But after this film, Abhay had vowed never to work with Anurag. There were reports of rift between the two. Many times both of them had lashed out at each other on social media without naming anyone.
Recently, Abhay called Anurag a toxic person in an interview with Mid-Day. He also put many blames on Anurag. Now, in a conversation with Janice Sequeira, Anurag has replied to Abhay Deol.
Anurag said – I don’t think I am bad at maintaining relationships. After the shooting of ‘Dev D’, Abhay and I did not meet. He did not even come for the promotion of the film. He never even spoke to me after that. This is his side of the story. If he calls me toxic, then there is no problem, this is his side of the story. The truth cannot be told. Because if I tell the truth, he will not be able to show his face. It is not possible for me to do this. There is a lot of truth hidden about which even Abhay will not have the courage to talk. And now I will not talk about it because it will show him in a bad light.
