International pop singer Justin Bieber arrived in Mumbai on Thursday morning. It is reported that the singer will perform at the sangeet ceremony before the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The sangeet ceremony will be held at Antilia on Friday, July 5.
Justin Bieber landed at Mumbai airport on Thursday morning. Videos of the singer’s convoy of vehicles are becoming increasingly viral on the internet. Bieber has come to India after 7 years. Earlier, he was going to perform a concert here in 2022 but it was cancelled due to health issues.
This time he will perform only for the Ambani family and their guests. According to the reports of The Free Press Journal, Justin will charge around 10 million dollars i.e. approximately 83 crores rupees to perform at this wedding.
It is heard that international celebrities like Adele, Drake and Lana Del Rey will perform in it. Radhika Merchant is a big fan of Lana Del Rey. According to a report by India Today, the management team is currently in talks with these three artists. Talks are going on to fix the date and money transaction to invite them to the wedding celebration.
Earlier, international artists like Rihanna, Katy Perry, Pitbull, DJ David Guetta, opera singer Andrea Bocelli and Backstreet Boys performed in both the pre-wedding functions of the couple. Apart from this, artists like Diljit Dosanjh and Guru Randhawa also performed on stage.
Before the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, the whole family was seen together for the Mameru ritual. Pictures of Radhika and other family members have surfaced from this function. During this, the entire Antilia was decorated with lights just like a bride. Talking about Radhika’s look, she has worn a very beautiful pink colored lehenga for this function, in which she is looking exactly like a bride. What is ‘Mameru’ function?
Mameru means maternal uncle. In this ritual, the bride receives gifts from the groom’s maternal uncle which includes many gifts including traditional clothes, jewellery, traditional saris and bangles (ivory bangles).
