Chandu Champion Box Office Collection Day 14: Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Chandu Champion’ is continuously performing well at the box office. The film has earned well in the second week as well. However, the release of Prabhas starrer ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ in theatres on June 27 has had a great impact on the earnings of ‘Chandu Champion’. How much did ‘Chandu Champion’ earn on the 14th day of its release?
Kartik Aaryan played the role of Padma Shri awardee and India’s first Paralympic gold medalist Muralikant Petkar in Kabir Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala’s Chandu Champion. Kartik put his heart, body, mind and soul into this role. The film received positive reviews from audiences and critics. Although the film had a slow start, it picked up pace at the box office and collected crores every day. It has been almost two weeks since the film was released in theaters.
Talking about the film’s earnings, ‘Chandu Champion’ which opened with 4.75 crores, had a collection of 35.25 crores in the first week. In the second week, the film collected 2.65 crores on the second Friday, 4.85 crores on the second Saturday, 6.5 crores on the second Sunday, 1.75 crores on the second Monday, 1.9 crores on the second Tuesday and 1.85 crores on the second Wednesday. Now, the initial figures of the film’s earnings on the 14th day of its release, i.e. the second Thursday, have come.
- According to the early trend report of Saccanilk, ‘Chandu Champion’ has earned 49 lakhs on the 14th day of its release i.e. on the second Thursday.
- With this, the total collection of ‘Chandu Champion’ in 14 days has now become Rs 55.24 crore.
The release of ‘Kalki’ affected the earnings of ‘Chandu Champion’
‘Chandu Champion’ was performing very well at the box office till now but this Thursday Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD was released in theatres. This sci-fi film had a lot of buzz and there was bumper advance booking for its first day. Kalki has received a great response on the opening day. However, the release of this film has given a big blow to the earnings of ‘Chandu Champion’. The earnings of Karthik’s film were reduced to lakhs on the 14th day. Now it remains to be seen whether ‘Chandu Champion’ is able to gain momentum ahead of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ on the weekend or not.
