There is a lot of discussion on social media about the Malik family i.e. Armaan Malik, Kritika and Payal, who came as contestants in Bigg Boss OTT 3. A few days ago, Devolina Bhattacharjee had spoken against them, on which Payal had commented on her marrying a Muslim boy. Now Devolina has given her answer to Payal Malik and said that it does not matter to her whether you people marry 2 or 4-5 times.

Devoleena wrote on Instagram story, ‘A person needs to have a lot of brains to understand that interfaith marriage i.e. marrying in another religion and marrying twice are different things. Which I know intelligent people understand. It is not only my right but the right of every Indian to raise their voice against the second marriage which has been proudly flaunted on national television.’
‘You should not make fun of those women who die little by little every day due to so much torture. Otherwise you should do whatever you want in your house and why only marry 2, marry 4 or 5 times.’

Devoleena further wrote, ‘Just don’t spread this disease in the society. I stand by every word I said and this is not the first time a YouTube content has been made on me and most importantly my husband who is a Muslim is loyal to his wife and does not promote second marriage. We were in a relationship for 4 years then we decided to get married, after understanding each other well and not in just 7 days.’

Finally, Devoleena wrote, ‘I would say that women should not lose their self-respect. To be honest, I feel bad for you. But I think you yourself want this. For you, everything is YouTube content, for me, so keep doing it.’
