Raghav Juyal and Lakshya’s film ‘Kill’ is going to be released in theatres tomorrow i.e. on 05th July. There is a continuous discussion on social media about this film. It is being said that this film is going to be the most violent film of India. The audience is also eagerly waiting for this film. Now actor Lakshya, who worked in this film, has told how he shot the film. Lakshya told that he tortured himself during the shooting of the film.
Lakshya’s action is being praised
In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, ‘Kill’ actor Raghav praised his co-actor Lakshya and said that he has not seen an action hero like Lakshya in decades. The host of the interview also praised Lakshya’s action scenes. He said that he could see anger in Lakshya’s eyes in the film. He asked Lakshya how big a challenge it was to shoot the action scenes in the film.
The actor said – I tortured myself
Answering the question, Lakshya said that he was deliberately torturing himself during the shoot. He said that I used to sleep less so that my eyes would look swollen the next day during the shoot. He said, “After shooting for 12-14 hours, I was sleeping for just four hours so that my eyes would look swollen the next day.” He further said that I had changed a lot mentally as well. I was not meeting friends.
There was a lot of hatred for the character of Raghav
On being asked about his acting, Lakshya said that the performance of the co-actors was also good. Because of the way Tanya performed, I had a connection with the character. I was able to feel that pain and emotion. He said that I was feeling hatred for the character of Raghav. A lot of things became real on the set.
Told what was the biggest challenge
He told that the biggest challenge for him was that it was a journey of two hours and the shoot was going on for 70 days, so you have to show that journey on your face every day. It is not like one day you look tired, injured and the next day you look fresh. This cannot happen in such films. The biggest challenge for us was to maintain emotional continuity. We were torturing ourselves a bit for that. He said that we used to listen to such songs which would create the atmosphere of the film, we were watching dark films so that we could keep our mind in that state.
Let us tell you, this film premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last year. This film is directed by Nagesh Bhatt. Variety magazine has called it ‘India’s most violent film’.
