Actually, a Hollywood concept artist has accused the makers of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ of stealing his art work.

Let us tell you that this Hollywood concept artist named Oliver Beck posted two pictures on X (formerly Twitter) to prove his claim and wrote, “Sad to see that some of the work I did for Star Trek: Prodigy was stolen by Vaijayanti Films in their trailer. This is the matte painting I did for Star Trek under the direction of Ben Hibon and Alessandro Tani and then as it appears in the trailer.
He shared two other photos for comparison and said, “He also directly stole the work of the extremely talented Sung Choi.”

Oliver what did he say?
Now Oliver has spoken in an interview to the Indian Express and said, “It can be difficult to see plagiarism when you are not an artist. You may not see it immediately but all my artist friends that I have spoken to and the artist community are very clear that it was taken from my work and you can clearly see that it is not a complete copy but matches my work. They approached me to work on this film, so they know my portfolio and they have seen my work so it is a huge coincidence.”
Will Oliver take action?
He further said that it would be difficult for him to take legal action because it is not an exact copy. He said, “Legal recourse is challenging for me because my work has not been directly copied. Legal action usually requires very clear plagiarism, such as in the case of Sung Choi where his work was copy-pasted.”

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ will be released on 27 June. Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan have played important roles in the film. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin and is made under the banner of Vaijayanti Movies. The budget of the film is said to be 600 crores.
