She further said, ‘There were a lot of restrictions at that time and I could not tell anyone what I look like in real life or who I am or what my name is. I got my first award for the show as Jasmeet Walia and I did not get it as Mona Singh. I used to be surprised when people recognized me and looked at me. But becoming Jassi was another big achievement because the show was very popular.’
