‘Stree’ Universe’s film ‘Munjya’ has finally crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at a snail’s pace. Made at a cost of just Rs 30 crore, this film has had a great journey at the box office. It was believed that this low-budget film might not be able to do anything special, but Dinesh Vijan has once again proved that he is the real master of horror comedy in the industry. The big thing is that the film has touched the Rs 100 crore mark at a time when Kartik Aaryan’s film ‘Chandu Champion’ was also present at the box office.

Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma and Mona Singh starrer horror comedy film ‘Munjya’ was released in theaters on June 7 and got a rating of 7.3 on IMDb. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, everything from the songs to the story of this film was a hit. Many people also reached to watch the film because its connection was told with Stree-2 and Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya. Talking about earnings, Sacnilk has released the figures and told that it has become the 7th film of the year 2024 to earn 100 crores.
Box office collections of Munjya
According to the report, Munjya has grossed 98 crore 35 lakh rupees in India and has earned 4 crore 25 lakh rupees from other countries. Thus, the total box office collection of the film has become 102 crore 60 lakh rupees. Apart from this, this has become the second film of Maddock Films’ horror comedy universe which has touched the figure of 100 crores in terms of earnings. Earlier, Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s film ‘Stree’ was successful in doing this feat.
This film can become a problem for Munjya
The net collection of the film in India so far is 83 crore 90 lakh rupees and this figure can reach 90 crores by next Friday, but a big problem in this can be Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan’s film Kalki 2898 AD. Because this mega budget film is going to be released this Friday. It has to be seen what kind of start this film will get at the box office and how much time will it take to recover its cost.
