New Delhi. Filmmaker-director Karan Johar has confirmed that the next season of his controversial and popular chat show, ‘Koffee with Karan’ will come in 2025. In his latest interview, Karan has made some interesting revelations about his past chat show and the upcoming show. After knowing Karan’s latest interview, his fans will definitely be happy to know that what Karan has said is really very correct. Along with this, the fans said that he will not make the same mistake again in the upcoming episodes.
Karan said that he wants to take a year off and considering the feedback received last year, he will bring the ninth season of the show in a new style next year. He told this while talking to Suchitra Tyagi in a podcast. Karan said – I was thinking, ‘Why am I doing all this?’ You are not giving me questions. Should we leave the rapid fire and I will take the hamper because no one really deserves to win it. Now, I am thinking let’s change the world of Coffee with Karan with the ninth season and it will come back with full fun and conversation.
Director Mahesh Bhatt speaks his mind openly
Director Karan Johar also said that many times celebrities are ‘afraid’ to speak openly on many topics. However, he believes that earlier celebrity guests used to express their opinions openly. Further giving the example of director Mahesh Bhatt, Karan said, ‘The way Bhatt sahab is, he will still give me the same answer. But I think I will get into trouble.’
These stars were guests in the eighth season
Let us remind you that the eighth season of the chat show came in 2023. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were the first guests in the eighth season. After this, other celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Sharmila Tagore, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Rani Mukherjee, Kajol, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Pandey, Janhvi Kapoor and Kushi Kapoor also joined the show.
