In an interview to Tele Talk, Shweta said, ‘Whatever I have done, I do not want to do it again. If you watch TV today, everything is going on the same. I don’t even like to watch TV now. When mom and dad used to watch it, I used to watch it too. But now I don’t know what kind of magical things are being shown on TV. Which do not happen in real life.’
Shweta Tiwari said, ‘God is shown as if he is walking with you, flowers are falling from somewhere, pallu is falling from somewhere. I believe that God stays with you and you also get the fruits of your deeds. But it does not happen that the vermilion flies and falls on your head, all this does not happen. TV is rotating in every show. Amazing actors are coming on TV. Now a good story should be made, people are getting bored seeing the same thing every time.’

The actress further said that, ‘When I had not even come on TV, the earlier shows were quite a hit, but in today’s serials, all the same old things are there, mother-in-law taunting the daughter-in-law, whether she applied sindoor or not, whether she put the cooker on the gas or not. The mother-in-law does wrong to you. How long will you do the same things. I don’t want that I do a show and it closes in 6 months. I would like to do some new kind of shows. Not the same things at all.
Along with this, Shweta Tiwari said that, ‘Many popular actors are ready to do shows even for less money. But I used to charge a fixed amount for my show and I will not do any show for less money. If I am offered a show, I have some conditions. The production people want to work for 30 days but you can make me work for 20 days but I take leave on Sunday so that I can spend time with my children.’
