New Delhi: Gurmeet Saxena became famous by playing the role of Ram in the 2008 TV show ‘Ramayana’. A new series of this popular TV actor is about to be released, the trailer of which has been released. His character in the film is that of RAW agent Karan Saxena, who is a patriot and can go to any extent to save the country. At the same time, Iqbal Khan is in the role of a villain. He has played the role of ISI chief Nasir.

Playing the character of Nasir gave me a chance to try something different. It was a challenging experience. I hope the audience will be able to see our hard work and enjoy the series. The teaser of ‘Commander Karan Saxena’ was released recently, in the beginning of which Iqbal Khan is seen and a voice comes from the background saying, get the shroud ready, we are going to burn and destroy your country. After this comes Gurmeet’s amazing dialogue, in which the actor says, ‘You could not win even one cricket match in so many years, and you are trying to defeat my country.’ The teaser has been liked a lot by the audience. This series is going to be released on Disney Plus Hotstar on July 8.
