Actor Vivek Oberoi made his debut in the Bollywood industry in the year 2002 with the film ‘Company’. In his very first film, Vivek showed his acting prowess. Everyone praised his acting in this film. After this, he gave many hit films like Masti franchise, Saathiya, Shootout at Lokhandwala and Omkara. Vivek was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s cop series ‘Indian Police Force’. In such a situation, now fans are eager to see him on screen once again. Along with acting, Vivek also started doing business. What was the reason due to which Vivek Oberoi had to enter the world of business despite having a successful film career? The actor told about this in an interview and made a shocking revelation.
‘When you fall prey to lobbying, you are left with only 2 options’
Vivek Oberoi recently spoke openly about Bollywood lobbying in a conversation with India News and made many surprising claims. He said, ‘I have been doing many other businesses for some time now. There was a time in my life when my films were hits, my acting was praised, yet due to some other reasons, if you are not getting any role, and when you become a victim of the system and lobby, then you are left with only two options. Then either you get disappointed or you take it as a challenge and write your own destiny. I chose the second path and then started many businesses.’
Messing with Salman Khan was costly
It is worth noting that Vivek Oberoi’s career sank when he had a public fight with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. During a press conference in 2003, Vivek accused Salman of threatening and beating Aishwarya. After this, Aishwarya Rai married Abhishek Bachchan in April 2007. Their daughter Aaradhya was born in November 2011.
