When will Coffee with Karan Season 9 come?
Celebrity chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’ is one of the most popular chat shows in the country. Bollywood’s well-known director Karan Johar has been hosting this chat show for years. So far, eight seasons of Koffee with Karan have been released, in every episode of which big Bollywood stars were seen on the Koffee couch. In the show, Karan often asks celebs many questions related to their professional and personal life. Will Karan Johar take a break from Koffee with Karan?
Karan Johar recently spoke about his show in an interview with movie critic Suchitra Tyagi. Karan said that he is taking a break from Coffee with Karan this year, however, his show will definitely come in 2025. He will return with Coffee with Karan Season 9 in 2025. This means, Karan is taking a break from his popular celebrity chat show this year.
Rapid fire should be stopped: Karan Johar
During the conversation, Karan told that fans will be able to enjoy the new season of Coffee with Karan in the second half of 2025. He said, ‘This was the most boring rapid fire in the history of Coffee with Karan. It was so boring that I was like a snooze alert. I feel like why am I doing this? You are not giving me questions. Should we leave the rapid fire? I take the hamper home because no one really deserves to win it.’
Celebrities should not be put in an awkward position: Karan Johar
He further added, ‘Let’s change the world of Koffee with Karan. Let season 9 be all fun, all conversation and all candor, but do it in a way that doesn’t put the celebrities in an awkward, vulnerable space. People are scared to speak up, they don’t say anything like they used to. You can’t ask them which film is overrated or whose performance was overrated. Because, no one will answer you.’
Karan will take a break from the show in 2024
Karan says- ‘That’s why I have taken off from Coffee with Karan in 2024. It will come back in 2025. Maybe in the second half of 2025. We want to come back with a new syntax.’ Let us tell you, the eighth season of Coffee with Karan was in controversy from the beginning. The first guests of the show were Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who talked about the courtship period of their relationship. But, users did not like this statement of both. However, it became one of the most watched episodes in the history of Coffee.
