Pankaj Bhatia On Due Payments: Actor Pankaj Bhatia has impressed fans with his acting in the popular TV show ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ and the hit web series ‘Heeramandi’. Pankaj is a well-known name in the TV world. The actor has appeared in many serials so far. But recently Pankaj Bhatia has made such a revelation about himself that everyone was shocked. Yes, actually Pankaj shared a video on his social media account.
I have not received my hard earned money for a year
In this video, the actor told that he has been going through a very difficult time for the last one year. Because the makers have not paid him for his hard work. Although Pankaj Bhatia did not reveal the name of the channel or the show during this time, but he has expressed his pain in the video and told how he is surviving these days by taking money from his relatives.
Pankaj starts the video by mentioning that he has trouble sleeping at night and says, ‘It is 1 am right now and there is complete silence inside the house. But I am not able to sleep, actually I am feeling sleepy but my sleep has gone away. The reason for my sleep going away is that some time ago there was a rule that whenever a show used to end, the channel used to ensure from the producers that after the show goes off-air, all the actors get their money.’
‘I am making my living by borrowing money…’
The actor said, “I never had to worry about my money until I did ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’. Because till date I have got all the good production houses. It has been very fortunate that I have worked with very good producers like Ekta Kapoor and Rajan Shahi. I have never worked with any production till date where my money is stuck. But the show I joined after Covid, you know which show I am talking about.”
The actor’s pain spilled
Pankaj Bhatia further said, ‘The show I was doing got shut down and it has been almost a year now, I have not been paid. It has been more than a year since I have been working without money. I have asked them many times to pay me the full amount but after six months and a lot of convincing, they gave me only Rs 50,000 and you will be surprised to know that the maintenance of the building I live in is only Rs 30 to 35 thousand.’

He further shared that ‘he is managing his work by taking loans from his friends and family and along with him, about 50-60 people are also waiting for their money.’ This video of Pankaj Bhatia is becoming quite viral. Many celebs of the TV industry like Divyanka Tripathi, Ali Goni, Krishna Mukherjee and Vivek Dahiya have come out in support of the actor.
